OUR MISSION
The mission of the Chisholm Group, LLC is to transform generational trajectories by connecting education and economic pathways in cities across America, bringing these sectors together to create stronger pathways to the future. Our approach is based on a model of targeted universalism. This means setting ambitious goals to prepare all students for the future but beginning with those historically locked out of the opportunity.
The Chisholm Group is an economic justice organization focused on education & workforce opportunity, strategic partnerships, and entrepreneurship. The Chisholm Group currently provides education agency, government, non-profit, and business consulting services at the national, state, and local level to address systemic barriers in access to economic opportunity for marginalized communities. The Chisholm Group also coaches Black women, women of color, trans women, and non-binary individuals on how to begin their own entrepreneurial journey to launch or expand a business venture, breaking down barriers to economic opportunity.

Economic Recovery
As the United States develops plans to emerge from the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, career readiness education can be a vehicle for economic recovery and, as we know, Black communities and other communities of color have been the hardest hit economically this past year and historically.
Strategic Partnerships
All sectors (Prek- 12/ higher education, industry, government, community-based organizations, parents & students must come together to create & amplify local solutions to be scaled into a new local, regional & state-wide approach.
Education & Workforce Opportunity
We have the opportunity and the imperative to reimagine the way we prepare all students for successful post-secondary transitions. This includes rigorous academic standards linked to high quality career education and exploration opportunities.
Entrepreneurship
Since the founding of this country, women have been blocked from attaining wealth. This is even more true for Black women, women of color, trans women, and non-binary individuals; causing tremendous income inequality among intersecting demographics.
